German minor

A minor in German requires at least seven courses beyond GERM 261 , as follows. A student may not complete both a minor in German and a major in German. In meeting the requirements of this discipline-based minor, a student may not use more than nine (9) credits used to meet the requirements of another major or minor. German minors are encouraged, though not required, to have a term of study in a German-speaking country.

Complete all courses in the following list: Additional German Courses
Choose four additional German-language or German-related courses as described below: - At least two 300- or 400-level 3-credit courses taught in German
- The remaining two courses can both be in German, OR one may be a German literature course taught in English (LIT 295 ) and the other may be an approved cognate course (see list).
Total Minor Requirements 22 Credits
