GERM 261 - Intermediate German I

Prerequisite: GERM 112, GERM 115, or GERM 261 placement.

Students develop the linguistic tools for intermediate-level proficiency in German and build a solid foundation in the four traditional language skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. This course emphasizes the development of intercultural competency through a virtual tour of Germany and Austria and exploration of the regional differences, lifestyles, customs, and values, that are unique to those countries.
