LAW 400P - Real Estate Transactions Practicum.

This course will introduce the students to the transactional practice of real estate law with a focus on commercial real estate transactions. The class will begin with the purchase of a residential property that will provide the students with a framework from which to work. It will then turn to a variety of commercial transactions involving Landlord & Tenant situations and the purchase of a National Net Lease Commercial Property. The commercial transactions will be set up to simulate real life practice and will involve interviewing clients and having teams work on opposite sides of some of the transactions. Three hours. Not offered in 2015-2016.
