Students completing the minor will gain familiarity with a wide range of art history through 100 and 200-level courses, and they will also be exposed to specific problems or periods through 300-level seminars. Though students are not required to participate in the senior seminar (ARTH 395 ) for majors, they may do so if they wish with instructor consent.

A student may not complete both a major and a minor in art history. To meet the requirements of this minor, at least nine credits must be unique to the minor. In other words, these nine credits should not have been previously used to fulfill the requirements of another major or minor.

LACS 396 - Capstone Seminar in Latin American and Caribbean Studies (when appropriate and approved in advance)
