Chemistry major leading to BS degree

The major in chemistry leading to a Bachelor of Science degree requires completion of at least 52 credits in the sciences and mathematics including the following:
- CHEM 111, 112, 242, 243, 250, 262, 266, 341; MATH 221; PHYS 111, 112, 113, 114
- One course from each of the following two groups:
CHEM 241 or 241S
CHEM 260 or 261
- Two courses chosen from CHEM 311, 345, 347, 350, and 365
- Completion of the Major Field Test in Chemistry.
MATH 221 must be completed by the end of the sophomore year; CHEM 262 must be completed by the end of the junior year. MATH 222 is recommended. Additional courses required as prerequisites for completion of the above include MATH 101 and 102, or their equivalents.
