Chemistry major leading to BA degree

The major in chemistry leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree requires completion of 44 credits as follows:
- CHEM 111, 112, 242, 243, 250, 341; PHYS 111, 112, 113, 114
- One course from each of the following two groups:
CHEM 241 or 241S
CHEM 260 or 261
- Six additional credits chosen from biology, chemistry (numbered 200 or above), geology or physics (numbered 200 or above)
- Completion of the Major Field Test in Chemistry.
Additional courses required as prerequisites for completion of the above include MATH 101 and 102, or their equivalents.
