PE 145 - Self Defense FDR: Physical Education (FP) Credits: 1
This course will introduce students to self-defense techniques centered in the art and practice of Jui Jitsu. Students will work together in a cooperative setting to help simulate what could happen in real-life, physical altercations and how to respond to best defend themselves. While Jui Jitsu has an endless number of techniques, students will be exposed to a set of 18-24 widely applicable skills. No prior martial arts experience is necessary. If it all possible, students should enroll in this course with a partner they feel comfortable working with.
