This course examines educational systems from around the world through a comparative lens. Students will analyze how cultural, political, and economic contexts shape educational philosophies, governance, curriculum, equity, and outcomes. Students will explore systems, from preschool to higher education, in both developed and developing nations. They will compare quantitative and qualitative data and evaluate reform efforts and innovations in global education.
