ARAB 222 - Arabic in Context II Prerequisite: ARAB 221 FDR: World Language Foundation (FL) Credits: 3
This course continues to develop students’ linguistic and cultural proficiency in spoken Levantine Arabic. Students continue to acquire the vocabulary and grammatical structures essential to living and working in the Middle East. They also cultivate their circumlocution skills to navigate and real-world situations. Communicative skills remain the top priority. The curriculum focuses activating large amounts of vocabulary and strengthens students’ working knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic.
