POL 202 - Applied Statistics Credits: 3
An examination of the principal applications of statistics to allow students to develop a working knowledge and understanding of applied statistics in the social sciences (politics, sociology, and economics), and accounting and business. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability, estimation, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
Note(s): Not open to students with credit for BUS 202 , CBSC 250 , DCI 202, ECON 202 , INTR 202, or MATH 118 .
