A Spring Term Abroad course. Specific topics vary depending on location. Engineering has evolved over the years as technology and society has advanced. This course investigates technical engineering concepts, the evolution of engineering, and the historical and cultural significance of engineering through the study of ancient and modern engineering marvels around the world. A framework of basic engineering analysis and historical context for the marvels are explored before travel. Site visits and tours take place abroad to explore these marvels firsthand.
