GEOL 230 - Field Methods in the Appalachians Credits: 4 Planned Offering: Spring 2011 and alternate years
Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor and GEOL 100, 101 or 105.An introduction to the study of geology in the field with special attention to the methods used by geologists to make, record, and interpret field observations.
