SOAN 269 - Studying Global Culture with the World Values Survey

Credits: 3 Prerequisite: Previous exposure to regression analysis, though regression is reviewed during the first week of the course. Analysis of data from the World Values Survey, a major source for studying global culture and cultural change. We read scholarly works that have made use of these data and carry out our own analyses of WVS data as consider questions about religious belief, political values, and social attitudes across the world.
