CBSC 254 - Attention

Credits: 3 Prerequisites: CBSC/PSYC 110, 111, or 112, and either CBSC/PSYC 250 or BIOL 201. An examination of the theories and mechanisms associated with attentional processes. Topics include: selective attention, divided attention, inhibition, working memory, and the application of these processes in human/machine interfaces. The functioning of the above processes in abnormal patient populations is also examined. Whiting.
