MATH 365 - Number Theory Credits: 3 Prerequisite: MATH 201 or consent of the instructor. Topics include prime numbers, Euclidean algorithm, congruences, Chinese Remainder Theorem, Fermat’s Little Theorem, Euler’s Theorem, arithmetic functions, Euler’s phi function, perfect numbers, the quadratic reciprocity law, continued fractions, and other topics as time and student interest permit.
