Prerequisites: MUS 120, at least junior standing, and major in music. An exploration of a specific musical topic around which music majors utilize and develop techniques in finding and evaluating research resources (in both print and electronic form), as well as applying the tools of detailed analysis. Assignments include those that require writing and presentation skills in preparation for work on a thesis. Staff.
