POL 283 - Minority Voting Rights and Fair Redistricting

This course counts towards the field requirement in American politics. This course introduces students to the redistricting process and election law by engaging them in a lab setting in which they use geographic information systems (GIS) software to develop alternative election district plans for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
