CHEM 311 - Advanced Analytical Chemistry Credits: 4 Planned Offering: Fall. Offered when interest is expressed and departmental resources permit.
Prerequisite: CHEM 211 and consent of instructor. This course deals with the process of experimentation. Topics include: statistics, statistical decision making, sampling, wet-chemical preparation, and measurement of analyte by modern instrumental (spectroscopic, chromatographic), as well as more traditional techniques (with an emphasis on electrochemistry).
