Prerequisite: BUS 221 and at least junior standing. Limited to BSADM, ACCB, ECON, and JOURF majors. A study of the practical application of finance principles to the world of real estate investment. Topics include the history of real estate finance, macroeconomic factors, valuation, and property management. Through exploration of case studies and interaction with practitioners (guest speakers), emphasis is placed on application rather than theory.
