LAW 314 - Human Rights Protection in Europe.


This short-course will explore basic human rights concepts and their application in the European context. Students will compare the procedural and substantive aspects of human rights protection in Europe and the United States, including examination of selected human rights such as free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom from torture, social and economic rights, and the right to health.
