Prerequisite: One course in psychology or sociology or instructor consent. Examination of current topics in aging research. Material includes literature from biology, as well as psychology. Topics include neurophysiological changes accompanying maturation; mental health issues; age-related changes in cognitive function; alterations in intra- and intergenerational relationships during adulthood; and cross-cultural perspectives on aging.
