This course is open by instructor consent only. It is designed to offer students the opportunity to participate in a full-scale public performance either onstage or behind the scenes, with pedagogical oversight by one or more professors, professional staff members, and/or professional guest artists. This class requires students to engage deeply with the production process by participating consistently and meaningfully in one or more aspects of production, including preparatory research, the rehearsal process, the design process, and/or tech week and public performances. The course culminates in a fully produced theatrical performance that is open to the public.
