ENT 1000 - Foundations of Entrepreneurship Prerequisite: Not open to Business Administration or Accounting majors. Credits: 3
An interdisciplinary introduction for students who are interested in entrepreneurship and in perhaps someday starting, owning or running their own businesses, or pursuing an entrepreneurial career inside of others’ organizations. Although entrepreneurship is a creative process, it also requires specific skills, knowledge, and tools to enhance the probability of success. This course helps students explore all aspects of developing ideas for new business ventures, including nonprofits or social entrepreneurship, including starting on the actual process of pursuing ideas and working with others in small teams. Through this lens of entrepreneurship, students receive an introduction to all of the primary aspects of business. Not open to BSADM or ACCT majors.
