LAW 524 - Legal Advocacy and Communication Course Type: First Year Course Credits: 2
Prerequisites: 1L class standing. Description: Legal Advocacy and Communication builds on the skills developed in the first-semester course while introducing students to persuasive communication and oral advocacy. Writing assignments focus on advocating for a particular outcome for a client and typically include a pretrial brief, an appellate brief, and an oral argument. As with Legal Analysis and Communication, students receive substantial individualized feedback on each assignment and participate in individual conferences about their final writing assignment.
