JOUR 334 - Leading Public Relations Campaigns Credits: 3
Prerequisite: JOUR 273. In this course - the most advanced stratcomm degree track - students are assigned to a team of peers and work exclusively with on community client over the term. Looking beyond the grounds of the university, students regard themselves as public relations professionals; they mobilize critical thinking, project management, teamwork, and creative strategy to deliver an original research campaign that meets client needs. In addition to navigating all phases of a PR campaign, students routinely practice verbal communication, advancing their presentation skills.
