EEG 340 - Hydrologic Modeling

Credits: 3

Prerequisite: Prerequisite or Corequisite: EEG 100, EEG 101, EEG 102, EEG 103, EEG 105, EEG 107, or EEG 200. This course is an introduction to hydrologic modeling. We will become familiar with some widely used hydrologic models. We gain expertise in preparing data, modeling rainfall and runoff in watersheds, simulating aquifer and groundwater flow, and analyzing water chemistry and contamination. We will delve into hypotheses testing, predicting future and hypothetical scenarios, and explore how models contribute to informed decision-making processes.
