LAW 204 - Abortion Controversy Seminar.

This seminar will broadly examine the abortion controversy. Representative topics could include: fetal personhood, abortion and feminism, abortion and civil disobedience, the role of religious values in the abortion debate, the use and relevance of demonstrative evidence, informed consent, spousal and parental notification/consent, the different roles of lawyers in the controversy, the role of the media, the effect of the abortion controversy upon particular communities, and the rhetoric of the abortion controversy.Two hours.CalhounNot offered in 2009-2010.
