RUSS 263 - Russian Language and Culture Study

Prerequisite: RUSS 262. This intensive academic program offers students a chance to immerse themselves in the Russian language and culture. The program at Daugavpils University includes daily classes tailored to W&L curriculum. Daugavpils, the second largest city in Latvia, is one of the best places to study Russian while enjoying security of the European Union. Nearly everyone in Daugavpils is a Russian speaker and Russian is the language of daily communication in town. Students will stay with Russian-speaking host families. They will experience full linguistic immersion and undergo an amazing cultural experience in the city which has a remarkable historical legacy tied to Russia.
