PSYC 296 - Spring-Term Topics in Psychology

FDR: SS3
Credits: 4

Topics and prerequisites vary with instructor and term. May be repeated for degree credit if the topics are different.

Spring 2016, PSYC 296-01: Topics in Psychology: Psychology Lifehacks (4). No background in Psychology is required. This class features an In-depth examination of learning and behavior; more broadly, it promotes an understanding of brain function for applied, everyday use. Students learn how it’s designed, how it processes information, what it’s good at doing, what it’s terrible at doing, how it thinks, learns, feels … and most importantly, how you can make it all work to your advantage. Class activities include daily meetings (in a book-club-style seminar) to discuss readings, writing assignments, visiting experts, and working together to help teach one another. (SS3) Schreiber. Planned Offering: Spring
