ECON 243 - Economics of Business Strategy


Credits: 3

Prerequisite: ECON 101. A survey of the structure and performance of industry, from entry and exit of new technologies and products, to economies of scale and scope in mature industries, to how firms are organized and what they “make” versus “buy.” As metrics, we focus on what such behavior implies consumers and for corporate strategy.
