BUS 330 - Global Human-Resource Management

Prerequisite: BUS 217 and at least junior standing. Preference to BSADM or JOURF (JMCB) majors during first round of registration. Human-resource management (HRM) is concerned with how to best attract, select, develop, and retain employees in organizations. This course examines HRM in the global context. Topics include employee selection, training, performance management, compensation, health, safety, and security, and termination. We focus on designing HRM practices in the context of the global social, legal, and technological environments. Dean. Planned Offering: Fall
