Prerequisite: Preference to BSADM or JOURF (JMCB) majors during the first round of registration. Offered from time to time when interest is expressed and departmental resources permit. May be repeated for degree credit if the topics are different.
FALL 2015, BUS 305-01: Seminar in International Business (3). The broad context of this seminar is the rapid acceleration of international trade over the past two decades. Students examines the economic, political, and cultural issues that challenge our own business assumptions, with a focus on the perspective of a manger in the international business arena. Students compare issues across countries, and examine specific companies and locations, specifically evaluating theories, concepts, and cutting-edge developments in the field of international business in order to understand, diagnose, and solve problems in international business.
