Prerequisite: BUS 211, at least junior standing. Preference to BSADM, JOURF, or JMCB majors during the first round of registration. Offered from time to time when interest is expressed and departmental resources permit. May be repeated for degree credit if the topics are different.
Spring 2016, BUS 303-01: Customer Contact (4). Customer orientation, customer relationship management. and other such customer-centric topics are important foci in marketing and overall business profitability. While it is valuable simply to understand their roles and applications, it is absolutely essential that someone, somewhere in a firm be able to actually execute them. The purpose of this course, therefore, is to provide students with experience in customer contact, the techniques used to influence customers, and how to tailor these techniques to a diverse range of individual customers.
