LAW 324 - International Income Tax.


This course explores the taxation implications of globalization. It does so through an overview of the U.S. taxation of international transactions involving both goods and services, including the U.S. activities of foreign persons (inbound transactions) and the foreign activities of U.S. citizens and residents (outbound transactions). Specific topics include U.S. jurisdiction to tax, source rules for income, bilateral income tax treaties, the foreign tax credit, and anti-deferral provisions.Two hours.Ms. DrumblPrerequisite: Federal Income Taxation of Individuals.Not offered in 2010-11.
